GDPR & data controls
Effective date: September 3, 2026 Last updated: September 3, 2026
A plain-language guide to the privacy choices and product controls available when you use AdFence.
1. Purpose
This page helps you find and understand the data controls described across AdFence. It is a practical summary, not a replacement for our legal terms. The Privacy Policy remains the authoritative description of what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we retain it, and the rights that may apply to you.
2. Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights concerning your personal information. Our Privacy Policy describes the following requests:
- Access: ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: ask us to delete personal information that applies to your request.
- Data portability: ask for your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection: object to certain processing of your personal information.
- Withdraw consent: withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
- Restrict processing: ask us to restrict processing in circumstances where that right applies.
3. Account Controls
Account settings let you manage your AdFence account and delete it. Account deletion is permanent and is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Notification settings let each team member configure channels, severity thresholds, and quiet hours for their own alerts.
4. Connected Advertising Accounts
You choose which advertising accounts to connect. You may disconnect any advertising account from AdFence at any time. Disconnection ends AdFence's access to that account through the advertising platform API; you can also revoke the authorisation directly with the platform.
Monitoring is read-only by default. The optional Kill Switch uses limited write access only when enabled, and only to pause campaigns on the connected accounts you select.
5. Retention and Deletion
Monitoring history is retained according to the subscription plan described in the Privacy Policy. Disconnecting an advertising account removes it from active monitoring, while its historical information follows the applicable retention period. Deleting an AdFence account permanently removes its account information and associated product data as described there.
6. Make a Request
Send a privacy or data request to hello@adfence.io. Tell us which right or control your request concerns and provide enough information to identify the relevant AdFence account. Do not send your password, advertising-platform credentials, or access tokens.
Requests are handled according to the law that applies to the request. Nothing on this page limits mandatory privacy rights or adds a fixed deadline beyond what applicable law requires.
